Monica Rourke is a distinguished professional engineer in the concrete repair and waterproofing industry. For the last 16 years she has been building a solid reputation working with architects, specifiers and owners on very large and prestigious projects.

As WEBAC Specifications Engineer, Monica is an asset to our company and customers alike. Her position as Vice President for the renowned International Concrete Repair Institute reflects her achievements and extraordinary knowledge and expertise.

Monica has served on the Board of Directors for the International Concrete Repair Institute (ICRI) since 1999, became a Fellow in 2003 for ICRI National, past chairman of the Marketing, Industry Outreach and Meetings & Conventions Committees.
Monica was also a member of the ICRI Task Group for the technical guideline: “Control of Water Leakage Through Concrete Structures”. She further serves on the Board of Directors for the local ICRI Chapter in Connecticut and was President for two terms.

Monica is the author of several influential papers for industry presentations in the U.S. and in Europe.

She is a member of ACI, AWWA and AUA and the Transportation Research Board’s committee on Tunnels and Infrastructures and the TRB subcommittee on Tunnel Rehabilitation.

Monica was inducted into Who’s Who of International Professionals in 1997.
